The first 930E load body completed though joint effort of VRS and CCPS Yucheng VRS与中煤平朔宇辰公司合作生产第一台930E厢斗下线。

2月24日，南非VRS公司与山西中煤平朔宇辰有限公司（前身平朔非煤产业管理总部）合作生产的VRC大厢厢斗产品下线启用庆典仪式在平朔工业园区隆重举行。南非VRS总裁约翰·范·瑞能，中煤集团党委常委、平朔公司执行董事、总经理伊茂森，公司党委书记王天润，副总经理叶新荣，总会计师马刚，朔州市开发区党工委副书记、管委会副主任高世宝等出席。
VRC厢斗厂于2010年10月启动，2011年12月正式生产，是南非VRS公司与宇辰公司合作的项目，主要为矿山生产重型厢斗、铲斗等大型采矿设备。该厂生产的厢斗全部采用瑞典SSAB高耐磨钢板制作，利用最新的三围虚拟设计技术，使箱体具有超强的耐磨性和抗冲击性，使用寿命是同类产品的2—3倍，将广泛用于公司露天生产、维修，为公司降低生产成本、提高人员工效发挥积极作用。
A ceremony was held on the 24th Feb in Pingshuo Industrial Park, to celebrate the completion of the first VRC truck body manufactured in cooperation with CCPS Yuchen (former DC). The MD of VRS John van Reenen, the MD and GM of Pingshuo Coal Industry Yi Maosen, the Party Secretary Wan TianRun , the Vice GM Ye Xinrong, the Chief Accountant Ma Gang and the Vice Director of Shuozhou Development Zone Gao Shiabo attended the ceremony.
VRC Load Body Workshop was officially opened in October 2011, and started production in December, mainly manufacture large off-highway truck bodies, rope shovel buckets. The load bodies are made of SSAB high strength wear resistant steel, using highly advanced 3D material flow simulation technology allowing the bodies with exceptional wear and impact resistance. The usage life is 2-3 times longer than the product of same kind. They will be widely used in Pingshuo’s Surface Mining production in order to save operational cost and improve productivity.

VRC and China National Coal officially launched the joint manufacturing project VRC与中煤平朔煤业公司合作生产项目正式启动
VRC与平朔非煤产业管理总部厢斗合作生产项目于2011年10月份正式启动。VRS执行董事长与中煤平朔公司副总经理叶新荣共同为厢、斗加工厂揭牌。
VRC Mining Equipment (Shanghai) Ltd. (VRC) and Pingshuo Coal Industry Multi-operation Development Co. (DC) officially launched the joint manufacturing project in October 2011. Mr.John Louis Van Reenen, the Managing Director of VRS and Mr. Ye Xinrong, the Deputy Director of Pingshuo Coal Industry, attended the unveiling ceremony of the new workshop.
非煤VRC厢斗车间于今年4月份开始基建，7月份完成主体工程和设备安装，预计11月中旬正式投入生产。该项目由非煤产业管理总部为主体，提供厂房和人员，南非VRC公司提供技术、管理和售后支持，双方共同建立销售网络，生产150吨以上卡车厢斗和电铲厢斗，主要为露天矿用重型卡车厢斗和重型电铲铲斗提供生产、维修及服务。
The construction of the new workshop started in April 2011 and completed in July. The production is going to start in mid November. In this cooperation, the DC provides the facilities and workforce, VRC provides the technology, quality control and after sale service, and both work together in marketing sales. The workshop will mainly produce off highway truck bodies of 150T and above and large rope shovel dippers.

VRC Pingshuo Multi-Operation Development Co. Joint Manufacturing 维艾西平朔合作生产

Van Reenen Steel (Pty) Ltd.and Pingshuo Coal Industry Multi-Operation Development Co. signed a joint manufacturing agreement recently for manufactruing large Surface Mining Equipment. PMD will invest over RMB40M to build the new workshop and purchase advanced equipment, VRS will be responsible for product design and manufacturing quality control. Both parties are looking forward to a long term happy relationship in order to manufacture high quality innovative products for Pingshuo and other large Open pit mines in China.

Vr truck bodies delivered to Pingshuo VR 厢斗平朔交付使用

The VR Truck Body – The first of 5 shiny new additions to the Komatsu 930E fleet at China’s largest and most advanced open pit coal mine went to work during May 2010.

As final truck assemblies and commissioning come to an end at the new Sishen South Mine near Postmasburg in the Northern Cape of South Afric, a new fleet of trucks equipped with the revolutionary VR Truck Bodies is rearing to go.
This green field mine is a sister to the vast Sishen Iron Ore Mine owned by Kumba Iron Ore where the first pair of VR Bodies was put through their paces. Sishen have confirmed that trucks equipped with this state of the art product deliver significant performance gains with additional operating cost savings. The success of the Sishen VR Bodies motivated their decision to equip the new Komatsu fleet at Sishen South with the latest version of these bodies. Sishen have recently ordered a number of additional replacement VR units for their own fleet. Once again confirming the solid performance of VR Bodies in one of the harshest mining environments possible.

Zhungeer Coal Mine in China’s Inner Mongolia, recently took delivery of a set of VR Drag Chains for their Bucyrus 8750 Dragline with a 90m3 bucket.

China Coal Pingshuo in Shanxi Province, one of China’s largest surface coal mines, recently ordered a new 59m3 VR Dipper for their P&H 4100XPB Rope Shovels. As part of the deal, the will be receiving a new VR Truck Body for their Komatsu 930E’s. Pingshuo is now the second mine in China to make use of the revolutionary new VR Products.

Ensham Coal Mine in Queensland, Australia recently ordered a 94m3 VR Taper Dragline Bucket. The Taper Bucket, a product of years of R&D by our team, eliminates the need for a spreader bar in the rigging. It reduces maintenance and increases production.

VRC Mining visits Zhungeer and Pingshuo 维艾西在准格尔和平朔
Since last December, VRC Mining has been in contact with China's two major open pit coal mines - Zhungeer and Pinshuo. The personnel from the Shanghai Representative Office and VR Steel in South Africa has given both mines several technical presentations of VR products, which all received very positive feedbacks. VRC Mining is in further discussion with the mines regarding dragline chains, dippers and truck bodies, which hopefully will lead to some sales of these products in 2009.

Expanding Eastwards 向东方扩展的VR Steel
Mining Weekly 29 August - 4 September 2008: VR Steel is to launch its fifth global operation, in India, in January in 2009. VR Steel already has a presence in China and, commenting on the company's decision to expand into the two Asian giants, Van Reenen says, "These are the biggest growth markets in the world." The company's Chinese operation, which was opened earlier this year, is progressing well. Van Reenen reports that, as a result of this operation, it has been able to reduce prices to the Australian market by 15% as a result of the lower shipping and labor costs in China. "This is really good news for the Australian mining industry and for the company. We are in the process of securing contracts for our dragline buckets and truck bodies for mines in Eastern Australia," he says.

VR bodies built to endure 经受时间历练的VR车体
SA Mining July 2008: VR Steel, recently launched its latest truck body design, which is said to be significantly lighter and to have a faster tipping capacity than current models.
The new truck body significantly reduces operating costs per tonne as it transports more ore at greater tipping speeds, thus increasing the number of loads moved.
The truck body is lighter with a reduction from 42t to 34t（730E）with the aim of further reducing the weight to 30t, which, in effect, will mean a greater load-carrying capacity.
The truck body is also stronger. The unique features include a ridgeback floor, which provides improved load distribution on the chassis, an ultra strong canopy, which better accommodates poorly distributed loads, and a strong top rail, which is designed to withstand heavy impact form pacts, such as rock falls during loading.
The truck bodies are constructed from a high-grade Swedish steel-hardox and weldox steel. Meanwhile, VR Steel already working on various truck body designs suited to Caterpillar and Terrex trucks, which will ready before the end of this month.
